While the MotoGP franchise is the most popular superbike games, the SBK series from Italian developer Milestone - who also used to work on the Moto GP series until development duties switched to Monumental Games - has often been the most overlooked one. Despite the change in development teams, the MotoGP franchise kept loosing fans year after year by disregarding the simulation aspect of the sport and going for a more arcade-focused style. SBK X is the first game in the series to be available in North America since SBK 08 and those who played it back then were pleased, but not satisfied.
